A self-hosted Keitaro alternative

Both of these run on your own server and both charge a flat fee. Keitaro draws its plans around how many users and domains you have. Roitrack has one plan, $69 a month, with nothing counted inside it.

Every Keitaro figure on this page was read from keitaro.io/en/pricing on 18 September 2026. That page loads with its billing switch set to Yearly; the monthly column below is what the same switch shows set to Monthly. Prices change. If you are reading this much later, check theirs before you decide anything.

We sell one of these two, so read the numbers rather than the adjectives. Keitaro has been the default self-hosted tracker in this industry for years, it is a bigger product than ours, and this page is not going to pretend otherwise. The honest gap here is narrower than a comparison page usually admits — the section on where they are better is further down and it is not a formality.

The short version

Price

Keitaro publishes three individual plans, and the price depends on whether you pay yearly. Both columns below are theirs, read from their pricing page on 18 September 2026. The users and domains columns are theirs too, from the feature table on the same page.

Their prices are in euros and ours are in dollars. We are not printing a conversion, because whatever number we put here will be wrong by the time you read it. Compare the columns within each currency and do the last step yourself.

Read our row the fair way too. The dash is not a hidden discount: there is no yearly option to commit to, because Roitrack is billed monthly and you can cancel any month. Keitaro's headline numbers are the yearly ones, which means a year up front.

Both bills assume a server you are already paying for. Keitaro's own FAQ: “Yes, Keitaro requires a server.” So does Roitrack — roughly $10–15 a month from any provider. That line is a wash and neither of us should claim it as an advantage.

Neither of us is the cloud one

The argument we make against a cloud tracker does not work here, so here it is being retired rather than quietly reused. Keitaro's pricing FAQ, same page, same day:

Not at this time. Keitaro is currently a self-hosted platform. You can use your own server or choose a ready-to-use option from one of our official hosting partners — Keitaro comes preinstalled and fully configured.

So your click data sits on your machine either way. Nobody is holding it hostage, nobody is metering your events, and cancelling either product leaves the database where it already was. If self-hosting is the thing you came looking for, both of these qualify and you should pick on something else. If you are actually comparing against a cloud tracker, that is the other page.

Nothing on Keitaro's pricing page is priced by traffic, and nothing on ours is either. The rows that change between their plans are users, domains, integrations and features — not clicks.

What the plans are actually drawn around

Two rows from their feature table decide most of this comparison. Keitaro Starter is 1 user and 1 domain. Advanced is 1 user and 100 domains. Only Expert carries more than one login, at up to 5 users and 500 domains.

So a second person looking at your numbers — a partner, a media buyer on your team, a VA who checks approvals — is the jump from €40 to €104 a month on their yearly billing, or €49 to €129 on monthly. That is the single biggest difference between these two products, and it is the reason this one exists: Roitrack includes unlimited users and unlimited domains in the one $69 plan, with four roles and group-based access so a user sees only the campaigns you assign them.

Group filtering is applied server-side, not hidden in the interface, and a role change invalidates that user's session on their next request rather than at token expiry.

What the cheaper plans leave out

The €40 row is the entry to the product, not the product. Read from the same feature table on their pricing page:

All three plans do carry their basic features, user scripts, high-performance data reports, the Keitaro Geo DB, the landing page editor and online support. The rows above are the ones that move.

There is deliberately no Roitrack column in that table. Several of those rows are their names for their features and we do not know exactly what they cover; putting a tick or a dash beside each one would be guessing, in a table that looks like it is not. What we have and have not got is written out in plain sentences below instead.

Where Keitaro is better

Some of these will decide it for you, and if they do, buy theirs.

• It is cheaper to start. Starter undercuts our price, and if one user on one domain is genuinely your whole setup, you are paying us for headroom you will not use.
• They have a landing page editor. On every plan. Roitrack does not have one: you upload a ZIP with index.html at its root, or point at a lander you host somewhere else.
• They read cost from more platforms. Google Ads and TikTok integrations are on their Expert plan. Roitrack reads spend from Facebook, and every other source is wired up by hand with a cost macro in the URL.
• They have an API and we do not. Click API and Admin API are on their list. Roitrack has no public API, documented or otherwise.
• They publish a refund. Their FAQ offers one within 14 days of purchase. Our terms say we do not offer refunds by default — we run a 14-day trial of the full product before you pay anything instead. That is a real difference in shape, and if you would rather have the money-back guarantee than the trial, theirs is the better deal.
• They have been selling this far longer than we have. Years of documentation, an academy, video tutorials, hosting partners who will hand you a server with Keitaro already installed, and someone in a chat window who will do the install for you. Roitrack is early. It does what this page says it does and it does not have that surface area.

What moving costs

Campaigns take a couple of minutes each to recreate. There is no importer — nothing reads a Keitaro export and fills Roitrack in for you, and we are not going to imply otherwise to get you over the line.

Any source or network works through URL templates and macros: ten pass-through sub IDs you name yourself, a cost macro, and an S2S postback back from the network. If it can fire a postback, it works here, and nothing needs an integration built for it first.

Historical stats stay in Keitaro. Roitrack counts from your first click on it. The sane way through that is to run both for a week — one campaign pointed at each, same traffic — and compare the two sets of numbers before you move anything you care about.

What you take on either way

This part is identical on both sides, which is worth saying since half of every self-hosted comparison page is spent on it.

• You need a server. For Roitrack: a fresh Ubuntu 24 VPS, 2 vCPU and 4 GB as a minimum — do not go below that.
• You point a domain at it and paste one command. First time through, budget 30–45 minutes; DNS propagation and wiring your network's postback take most of it.
• The machine is yours, so its uptime is yours. If your host has an outage, you are the one who notices.

What Roitrack actually is

A self-hosted tracker for click tracking, lander and CTA tracking, and S2S postback conversions. One command to install on your own VPS. Typical redirect is 1.6 ms. Costs are stored and reported in USD.

$69 a month buys the whole thing: unlimited clicks and conversions, unlimited domains and users, unlimited campaigns, offers and landers. There is no second tier to be upsold to, because there is no second tier — the plan badge in the screenshot above reads basic because that is the only paid plan there is.
